OUR STORY
We are a small family-run business with deep roots in woodworking and a big passion for craftmanship and country living. For many years our family has operated a carpentry workshop, specializing in custom-made timber windows and doors - crafted with care and precision. In 2023,
we decided to pursue another dream and began building cozy guesthouses right here on our family land - Ferjukot in Ölfus. We built the houses ourselves from the ground up, with the help of our family and friends.
It has been a true labor of love and we are excited to finally share it with you!
Ferjukot offers the peace and quiet of the countryside while still being just a short drive from the city. Surrounded by open nature and mountain views, with our horses grazing in nearby fields and fresh air all around, it's the perfect place to unwind and enjoy the simple pleasures of life.
The location is ideal for exploring South Iceland, including attractions like the Golden Circle and the south coast.
